MOT Day: Sadie’s Road Test Saga
MOT Day… It didn’t go as planned.
Another day, another pushed back MOT date… The lights were back on the dash with the new TMAP sensor… But cheap buy twice.
The work has begun on Sadie. Some fault finding is being done using the ODB scanner. I was hoping it would be capable of clearing the airbag and traction control lights, which are illuminated on the dash.
Idle funds and the want of a small peppy petrol hatchback back in my life has brought me to the somewhat questionable decision to buy this…
Laying plastic tiles into the garage was always at the top of my list of flooring options, but before I could lay anything, I had an issue…
It’s been a while since I updated anything about the garage and I have pretty much completed it in its current form.
First on the agenda was to get the Office space finished off so I could move out of the spare bedroom and into a dedicated space for my day job.
When I was starting to see my now wife, then girlfriend, her mother had a 2002 Skoda Fabia SDI Saloon. Although it was a very slow old beast, (I think 50bhp) it had a handsome ruggedness to it that I always liked despite its Classic trim level and saloon body shape.
This car was supposed to be a 2005 Honda Civic Type R Premier edition, but that deal went arseways, so off I went (in a huff) to Charles Hurst in Belfast to look at what used cars they had in stock.
Car number 3 came along around on March 7th 2009, when we took a drive to Warringstown to view and buy a beautiful Renaultsport Clio 182 with an interesting back story…
Saturday October 24th came and went, as did the following weekend. This was due to circumstances outside of the suppliers control, so come the 7th of November seen my garage roll up on the back of a flatbed along with a 50′ craine.
